Meet Lianna Willoughby,

Certified Jin Shin Jyutsu Specialist |Business Consultant| Founder of Retreat East Co

Lianna Willoughby is a complementary medicine practitioner, certified in Jin Shin Jyutsu and a purpose-driven business consultant with 15+ years of experience empowering individuals and businesses to unlock their full potential.

She specializes in the ancient Japanese hands-on healing art that harmonizes the body’s energy to promote balance, vitality, and self-healing. Jin Shin Jyutsu is a practice rooted in simplicity and accessibility, requiring nothing more than gentle touch to restore the body’s natural energy flow. In a world where we’ve become increasingly disconnected from ourselves—turning outward for answers to life’s challenges—Lianna believes the most profound solutions are often found by tuning within.

The body holds innate wisdom, and Jin Shin Jyutsu helps individuals reconnect with this inner knowing, allowing them to rediscover balance, clarity, and resilience. Over the past eight years, Lianna has guided countless clients in releasing stress, easing chronic pain, recharging from burnout, and navigating emotional challenges. Through her compassionate one-on-one sessions, she creates a space for profound energy shifts and teaches self-help techniques that empower clients to sustain their well-being and embrace self-healing in daily life.

For Lianna, Jin Shin Jyutsu is not just a healing art—it’s a way of helping people return to themselves and uncover their natural potential for harmony and transformation. Lianna Willoughby discovered Jin Shin Jyutsu during a pivotal time in her life when stress and imbalance left her seeking solutions that Western medicine was not able to help her with. Experiencing its subtle yet powerful ability to provide stress and anxiety relief, she was inspired to begin a lifelong journey of studying and sharing this ancient Japanese healing art with the world.

As a part of this journey, in 2022, Lianna founded Retreat East Co, a 105-acre Catskills retreat offering the perfect space for intimate gatherings, healing experiences, and nature-inspired escapes.

Beyond her healing work, Lianna Willoughby brings over 15 years of experience supporting purpose-driven founders and small businesses as a trusted operator, problem-solver, and thought partner. She works with entrepreneurs who are carrying a lot — running meaningful businesses while juggling life, family, and big responsibility — and helps them move out of overwhelm and into steady, grounded execution.

Lianna specializes in operational clarity, decision support, and follow-through. Often described as a low-key Chief of Staff, she helps founders simplify what feels messy, prioritize what matters most, and turn ideas into action without burning out. Her work is highly practical and collaborative — focused on creating systems, workflows, and rhythms that actually support real life.

Many creatives, healers, and values-led entrepreneurs struggle not because they lack vision, but because they’re holding too much alone. Lianna brings a calm, energetic presence to help make strategy and operations feel lighter, clearer, and more fun — whether that means streamlining workflows, organizing projects, or acting as a steady partner through moments of growth or transition.

Just as Jin Shin Jyutsu restores harmony within the body, Lianna approaches business support as a way to bring flow back into the moving parts of a business. By reducing friction, clearing blocks, and simplifying complexity, she helps founders create alignment between their purpose, operations, and capacity — so their businesses can grow in a way that feels sustainable and human.

Lianna’s work lives at the intersection of inner clarity and external execution. Whether supporting nervous system regulation or business operations, her mission is the same: to help people feel less alone, more supported, and better equipped to build lives and businesses that truly work for them.
